Program Description


 

Show 1

The first show will introduce the some of the equipment necessary to begin.  Mark will also demonstrate two beginner flies, the Wooly Worm and the Bead Head Wooly Bugger.

Show 2

Learn about dubbing and hackling as Mark ties the Griffith's Gnat, Thread Ant and Renegade flies.

Show 3

The Bivisible and Elk Hair Caddis take center Vise on this show.

Show 4

A more intricate technique, winging is introduced in show four as the Adams and Royal Wulff are tied.  These are the first of the seven advanced flies Mark will demonstrate during the series.

Show 5

Mark ties the Humpy and the Midge Dry to demonstrate the use of elk hair for backs and wings.

Show 6

Mark ties the Beadhead Scud and Copper Brassie in show six.

Show 7

If nymphs are for the fish at your favorite fishing hole you won't want to miss show seven.  As Mark ties the Gold Ribbed Hares Ear and Pheasant Tail he discusses techniques used for these tiny nymphs.

Show 8

The popular nymph returns to show eight when the Prince Nymph, Black Martinez and Black Stone are tied.

Show 9

These leeches are sure to suck fish right in.  Don't miss the ninth show as Mark demonstrates the Bunny Leech and Maribou Leech.

Show 10

If you're ready to try something more advanced, try the Clouser Minnow and Micky Finn from show ten.

Show 11

The Partridge and Orange Soft Hackle, Partridge and Herl Soft Hackle, Pheasant Tail Soft Hackle and the Biot Soft Hackle are sure to keep your fingers busy in show 11.

Show 12

Mark demonstrates variations on the Black Ant and an individualized pattern, Mark's Hopper, in the final show of the season.
